Jasmine Whitten was a graduate in 2014. During Jasmine’s time at SCOTS PGC, it was clear that this girl had an unwavering passion for agriculture and what a fantastic career she has had so far. After school, Jasmine went on to study a Bachelor of Rural Science (Hons) at the University of New England, where she had many accomplishments, including coaching the Intercollegiate Meat Judging Team, competing in the Student Case Study Competition at the IFAMA (International Food and Agribusiness Mangement Association) Conference in Argentina.
Jasmine was also chosen as a Young Farming Champion in 2017, where she was given extensive training in communication and opportunities to share her passion for agriculture with over 3000 school students. Jasmine, during her short career, has had many roles, including an internship with DA Hall & Co, working as a Junior Agricultural Consultant with the 2017 Consultant of the Year Greg Mills, and working as a Land care Coordinator based in Cobar, NSW.
Jasmine now has her dream job working as a Farm Business Consultant at Agripath based in her hometown, Tamworth, NSW. This is a role where she gets to share her knowledge with family farms, assist them to improve their business profitability and achieve their personal and business goals. In her spare time, you can find her with her blue heeler pup (Ava) and assisting her partner Ryan with his recently established plumbing business Ryablu Plumbing.
